It has an excellent finish, almost cant tell its foam and the paint job is fantastic! Anybody that tells you these little planes are great beginner planes are smoking crack. They are twitchy, usually tip stall abruptly and can be hard to fly. Everything happens really fast with these little guys. The only really good thing about them is that they are relatively inexpensive. I highly recommend installing some sort of gyro for everybody! it makes these small planes a little more manageable. I hot-rodded mine by installing a 40 amp esc in the stock location and run it on 4s. everything else is stock. motor, servos, etc. It flies great and it rips! It has wicked torque steer with that 4 bladed prop so you really have to ease into it on takeoff. I use a 1000mah 4s 45c battery and I get about 4 minutes mixed, mostly fast flying with it. Love the camo!

Overall the plane looks amazing. I installed a gyro in mine and as it turns out, that was a wasted effort. There is not a lot of room in the fuselage for extra components and the plane flys best with the gyro turned off. So don't use one! I set mine up for hand launch and belly landings, so no gear and no ordinance. I used the recommended 3S battery. Out of the box the only change I made was to reduce the aileron throws. (Down two holes on the servo side) I didn't put a lot of thought into balance because they don't even address it in the assembly video. Battery to the front and good enough. First flights: Hand launch it at half throttle and it will climb out smooth and straight. This plane will fly how you want it to fly. At 1/2 throttle it is smooth and stable and slows down really nice to land! At full throttle it is fast and climbs with authority. I am impressed and will be buying more soon from Motion RC!!!

I’m going to be fixing it and putting a gyro in it so I can fly it. Over all it’s a really nice plane my decals are falling off like the stickers and it’s a good plane for when you want to go up a notch from a starter.
